pioneer in the multivariate statistical software market, announces an OEM agreement
with Varian, Inc., a provider of analytical instrumentation, to offer CAMO's
analytical software, The Unscrambler® and The Unscrambler® Predictor (OLUP), with
Varian's dissolution systems for quality control testing in regulated pharmaceutical
laboratories.

Users of Varian's Cary® 50 line of UV-Vis spectrophotometers and Varian dissolution
baths now have the capability to model release rate data from Varian UV Dissolution
Software directly through The Unscrambler®. Models created in The Unscrambler® can
be exported to OLUP for multicomponent analysis of release rates for the
formulations being tested. Multicomponent analysis is a powerful tool for the
accurate determination of release rates for dosage formulations that contain
multiple active drug components, or include excipients and other matrix materials
that can interfere with the results of quality control tests.
